I have decided to part with the vintage dress that 

awoke my love for collecting vintage party dresses.  

It is in immaculate condition and has hung lonely in my closet for awhile now.  It is a guaranteed good time - and the new lucky owner will get a ton of compliments while wearing this gorgeous piece!  You can see the love and passion on my face in the pic below along with the help of a small consumption of liquor.

Cheers to the freaking weekend

How is everyone's weekends going? 

Last night we celebrated our dear friend JBC's bday...drank excessively and had a ton of laughs.  Tonight we are having dinner at Fuze on Fourth.  I have never been and am excited to scope it - and even more excited to spend more time with great friends.  It won't get rowdy however, because I have a early Sunday morning working the Church MyStyle event with the fab Kim Flanagan.  It is a Fashion event/Brunch/Mimosa extravaganza with the likes of Apt22, Bonita Runway, Southcentre Mall and others on the runway.  Kim Barnouin of 'Skinny Bitch' will be feautured as well.  Good times right?!  Get your last min tx HERE

reusable bag princess

I insist on using as little plastic as possible.  Our trips to the grocery store ALWAYS end in a death glare from the bf over my insistence to pile 4 bags of groceries into one plastic grocery bag.  Without fail it always snaps open as soon as you pick it up - although I secretly feel a little bit victorious if we make it at least half way to the parking lot before it snaps.  Short of lugging around reusable bags  (I ALWAYS FORGET) at least I'm attempting my part for the environment!

Amit Ayalon, aspiring fashion and costume designer, came up with this wonderful fabric bag design.

Just another great reason to ditch those plastic bags!

Whos the bigger DB?

I read an article the other day, about Abercrombie & Fitch's 'upset' that Mike 'The Situation' from Jersey Shore rocks their clothing.  They do not want to be tied to him in any way and have even actually offered to pay him major $$$$ to stop wearing their label altogether.  The entire article annoyed me.  For the record, while I think Mike is a total DB, as a brand you have to appreciate that publicity is publicity and a dollar is a dollar.  Abercrombie peeps don't want to be associated with Jersey Shore....HOWEVER I am going to go ahead and say that the other people already rocking Abercrombie & Fitch already look like DB's - so what's the diff anyway?  

Abercrombie & Fitch, don't act like you're better than your customers, regardless of who they are.  

Give me a break.  They are sweat pants.
